15 Sep 1920: K V is commissioned to the Royal Netherlands Navy.

18 Oct 1920 - 26 Jan 1921: K V leaves Nieuwediep (Netherlands) and travels unescorted to the Dutch East Indies. She take a route via Tunis, Port Said, Aden and Colombo.

26 Jan 1921: The K V arrives in Soerabaja.

1 July 1921 - 6 July 1922: K V is under the command of Ltz. I  .

6 July - 23 Dec 1922: K V is under the command of Ltz. II  .

23 Dec 1922 - 9 Jan 1924: K V is under the command of Ltz. I  .

1 Mar 1924 - 17 June 1925: K V is under the command of Ltz. I  .

According to his files he also commanded the K V, unfortunately the dates of this command are not in his files. But is was probably some time in 1930-31.

1934

1 Mar - 6 July 1934: K V is under the command of Ltz. II  .

1937

Aug 1937: K V is decommissioned.
