Chronology Gun boat.
1907: Decommissioned.
Apr 1911 - May 1913: Converted into submarine depot ship.
Boilers and engines removed. Length increased by 4 m.
Equipped with accommodation for two submarines (type ) crews,
workshops, spare parts etc.
1914 - 1918: Submarine depot ship at Vlissingen.
19?? - 19??: Submarine depot ship at IJmuiden.
Apr 1930 - 19??:: Submarine depot ship at Den Helder.
Summer 1937: Used by the NJV, Oudeschild.
May 1940: Accommodation and work ship  for the Submarine Service,
based in Den Helder.
Relieved by the ship Cornelius Drebbel
